DRDO LRDE Paid Internship 2026: 75 Vacancies Announced for Engineering and Science Students
Engineering students who dream of working on cutting-edge defence technologies now have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with one of DRDO’s premier laboratories. The Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru, has invited applications for its Paid Internship Programme 2026-27.
The internship programme is aimed at final-year BE/B.Tech students as well as ME/M.Tech and M.Sc students who are interested in research and development activities related to radar systems and defence technologies. Selected candidates will get an opportunity to work under DRDO scientists on real-world projects while receiving a monthly stipend of ₹5,000. The internship will be conducted for six months at LRDE, Bengaluru.

Who Can Apply?
The internship is open only to Indian nationals.
For BE/B.Tech Students
Candidates should:
- Be studying in the final year.
- Have completed or appeared in 6th Semester examinations.
- Possess a minimum of 70% aggregate marks up to the 6th semester.
For ME/M.Tech/M.Sc Students
Candidates should:
- Have completed or appeared in the 2nd Semester examination.
- Possess a minimum of 70% aggregate marks in the first year.
One important condition mentioned in the notification is that applications must be forwarded through the candidate’s college. Direct applications from students will not be accepted.
Stipend Details
Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month.
The amount will be paid in two installments:
